Israeli Forces Abduct Dozens Across West Bank Amid Escalating Raids

Israeli forces abducted nineteen Palestinians across the occupied West Bank on Thursday. Soldiers shot two children in Bethlehem and issued demolition notices in Jenin. These actions occurred during widespread invasions of communities across several different governorates in the region.

In Jenin, authorities issued demolition and construction halt notices for four homes in Arraba town. Notices were also issued for agricultural structures near Arrana village. In Nablus, soldiers abducted at least six Palestinians during invasions of Bizzariya, Sebastia, Urif, and Burin villages.

Other Palestinians were reportedly detained in Sebastia, but their exact number remained unconfirmed by local sources. Soldiers also invaded Asira Al-Qibliya and Duma village. In Tulkarem, forces invaded Zeita town and the Ektaba suburb, searching homes and interrogating residents there.

In Tubas, authorities threatened to forcibly displace a Palestinian family from the Tubas plain. Forces later invaded Tayasir village and searched several homes. Palestinians held the funeral of fifteen-year-old Jadallah Jihad Jadallah in Al-Far’a refugee camp after authorities released his body.

Israeli forces had killed the child during an invasion of the refugee camp on November 16, 2025. They withheld his body until its recent release. In Salfit, soldiers invaded Qarawat Bani Hassan, abducted four Palestinians, and confiscated a vehicle during the operation.

In occupied Jerusalem, soldiers abducted several municipal employees during an invasion of Hizma town. They confiscated a municipal vehicle and later invaded Anata town. In Bethlehem, soldiers abducted eight Palestinians after invading and searching homes in Doha town and Dheisheh refugee camp.

During a later invasion of Beit Fajjar, Israeli forces deployed snipers on rooftops. They shot and injured two Palestinian children with live rounds. Illegal colonizers also attacked Palestinian land and property in Bethlehem and Hebron, damaging olive trees and agricultural areas significantly.

Israeli authorities inaugurated the new Ma’ale Arugot colony within the Gush Etzion colonial bloc south of Bethlehem. Media reported it was the third new colony established within a week. In Hebron, forces abducted Khalil Ahmad Al-Hreini from Susiya village in Masafer Yatta area.
