Israeli Forces Intensify Attacks Across Gaza Despite Ceasefire

Israeli occupation forces intensified attacks across several areas of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday in continued violation of the ceasefire agreement. Military vehicles opened fire near tents sheltering displaced Palestinians east of Khan Younis causing panic among civilians particularly women and children in central regions.

In northern Gaza Israeli military vehicles opened heavy machine gun fire towards areas east of Gaza City and Jabalia. Naval forces also opened fire off the northern coast of Gaza City detaining ten Palestinian fishermen after shooting at their boats according to local committees.

Artillery shelled areas east of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza while smoke and explosive shells landed near al Batoun Street. Heavy gunfire was reported east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza while artillery also struck areas west of Rafah causing widespread fear.

A Palestinian was wounded by Israeli gunfire east of Hamad City northwest of Khan Younis according to medical sources. Attack helicopters fired intensively in the same area while military vehicles maintained sustained heavy gunfire east of Al Dawa neighborhood northeast of Nuseirat refugee camp.

These attacks followed the killing of five Palestinian civilians in Israeli attacks on Monday while several others were injured. The violence underscores the continuing danger facing civilians despite the truce as displaced families remain exposed in fragile tents amid destruction.

Gaza’s Health Ministry stated that one thousand three hundred thirty eight Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire began on October tenth two thousand twenty five. The overall death toll from Israel’s war since October seventh two thousand twenty three has reached seventy three thousand four hundred seventy four.
