Humanitarian partners of the United Nations have warned that relief work in the occupied West Bank is being delayed and restricted by a network of more than 900 physical barriers put in place by Israeli forces.

The partners said the network includes checkpoints and obstacles that interrupt the movement of aid convoys between governorates.

The cost is not only time. Refrigerated medical and food supplies lose their shelf life while waiting, turning a delay into the loss of a whole consignment.
