Israeli Ministers Unveil Plan to Displace 1.86 Million Gazans

Israeli officials have escalated calls for mass displacement of Palestinians from Gaza. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir revealed a detailed plan to force nearly 1.86 million people out over seven years. Defense Minister Israel Katz admitted a fully prepared transfer plan awaits approval from Washington.

He stated the initiative remains on the table despite being temporarily frozen by U.S. President Donald Trump. The government is prepared to execute expulsion once destinations are secured.

Ben-Gvir unveiled his expansive plan titled Disengagement 710 one day later. Crafted over eighteen months, it targets removing 250,000 Palestinians in the first year. The strategy aims to displace over eighty percent of Gaza’s 2.2 million residents within seven years under the guise of voluntary migration.

The proposal demands creating an independent Ministry for Voluntary Migration with a dedicated budget. Initial funding starts at 10 billion NIS, with total projections reaching 50 billion NIS. Ben-Gvir described seeing buses and planes driving Palestinians out, making this a core demand for his party’s coalition participation.

Human rights experts warn these statements reveal a scheme to ethnically cleanse the enclave. The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights emphasized that ceasefire talks serve as political cover for this drive. They noted that combining expulsion rhetoric with land grabs shows intent to re-engineer Gaza demographically and geographically.

Despite severe destruction and casualties, Palestinians demonstrate steadfastness by registering for return. Hundreds of families in Egypt have paid exorbitant sums to secure transit back to their neighborhoods.
