Israeli Strikes Kill Palestinians in Gaza Amid Ceasefire Violations

A Palestinian was killed in an Israeli drone strike on Monday while two others died from earlier wounds. Several more were injured in separate assaults across the Gaza Strip amid ongoing bombardment and reported ceasefire violations that have intensified recently.

Medical sources at Nasser Hospital confirmed one death and multiple serious injuries when a drone hit a motorcycle in Al-Mawasi. Passersby were also wounded in the attack west of Khan Younis. Sobhi Al-Batrikhi later succumbed to wounds sustained near the Communications Junction in Gaza City.

Six-year-old Dawood Moqat died from gunshot wounds inflicted weeks earlier in the Tuffah neighborhood. In western Gaza City, Yousef Aqila and his daughter Wafa were killed when a strike targeted their car near Hamid Junction. Mohammad Atef Sukkar was also killed in a separate strike behind the American School.

Israeli naval forces opened fire on fishing boats off Gaza City, wounding two young fishermen. Tanks fired heavily west of Rafah and northwest of Beit Lahia while artillery struck eastern Khan Younis. Seven-year-old Saadi Ghalia was killed when artillery shelled Sukaina School northeast of Deir Al-Balah.

The Health Ministry reported seven deaths and thirty injuries in the latest twenty-four hour period. Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, attacks have killed 1,352 Palestinians and wounded 4,511 others. The cumulative toll since October 7, 2023 has risen to 73,658 killed and 174,622 wounded.
