Seven Palestinians Killed in Gaza as Death Toll Surpasses 73,000

Two Palestinians died from earlier injuries in Gaza, raising the twenty-four hour death count to seven. The Palestinian news agency Wafa confirmed these fatalities occurred after sustained Israeli attacks in the strip.

Six-year-old Daoud Muqata died from gunshot wounds received weeks ago north of Gaza City. Subhi al-Batrikhi succumbed to injuries from an air strike on civilians in Remal neighbourhood last Sunday.

At least eight Palestinians were killed and thirty wounded in recent strikes. Two additional deaths resulted from wounds inflicted during previous Israeli military operations against various targets in the region.

Ismail Ibrahim Qandil was killed while riding his motorbike northwest of Khan Younis. An Israeli air strike specifically targeted him during this incident, adding to the growing list of casualties reported by local sources.

Massive explosions rocked Gaza City at dawn as residential buildings in Tuffah were hit. Israeli jets struck homes of the al-Batsh and Habib families overnight, also damaging Hayfa Hospital behind a commercial complex.

Gaza health ministry states Israel has killed at least 73,658 Palestinians since October 2023. Another 174,622 individuals have been wounded during this prolonged period of intense conflict and military engagements.
