West Bank Raids See Mass Detentions and Infrastructure Damage

Israeli occupation forces invaded towns and cities across the occupied West Bank before dawn on Saturday. Soldiers broke into homes, assaulted residents, and detained Palestinians while firing live rounds and gas bombs in various governorates.

Illegal Israeli colonizers also attacked Palestinian communities and damaged essential infrastructure during these coordinated operations. The widespread violence targeted residential areas, agricultural lands, and critical utility systems serving hundreds of civilians in rural and urban zones.

In the Ramallah governorate, soldiers invaded Al-Mughayyir and Turmus Ayya northeast of the city. Village council member Marzouq Abu Naim reported that troops occupied a home roof and interrogated families. Colonizers later fired live rounds toward houses in Shuab al-Louz.

Paramilitary colonizers attacked Palestinians with pepper spray near Al-Mughayyir, causing suffocation injuries. They also damaged a village council ambulance responding to the incident. In Burqa, settlers stoned a home and set fire to its balcony before residents extinguished the blaze.

In Hebron, forces abducted eight Palestinians from Ad-Duqaiqah after colonizers attacked residents. Settlers cut the main water pipeline in Masafer Yatta, depriving approximately 700 people of water. Activist Osama Makhamra described this as part of ongoing attacks on Bedouin communities.

Israeli troops invaded Deir Al-Ghusun in Tulkarem and abducted former political prisoner Ibrahim Ala’ Omar. Soldiers installed a military roadblock beneath the Jabara Bridge, obstructing traffic for hours. This adds to restrictions at entrances to towns enduring an offensive for 601 days.

In Jenin, forces invaded student housing at the Arab American University and abducted a displaced person. Colonizers cut down thirty guava trees belonging to Khaled Mohammad Amarna in Khirbet Farrasin. Soldiers also searched homes in Arraba and Fahma southwest of the city.

Colonizers released livestock onto Palestinian land in Tubas and Salfit governorates. In Jerusalem, fires broke out after soldiers fired gas bombs in Al-Isawiya. Forces also invaded Hizma and deployed near schools, establishing roadblocks and firing tear gas near Qalandia refugee camp.
