Israeli Forces Shoot Two Palestinians in West Bank Raids

Israeli forces shot a Palestinian child in Qalqilia and a man in Jenin with live ammunition early Sunday. Soldiers invaded communities across the occupied West Bank, conducting home break-ins and street closures in several cities and villages during the dawn operations.

In Qalqilia, troops shot a child in the thigh during a military invasion of the city. The Palestinian Red Crescent treated the victim before transferring him to a hospital for further medical care. Soldiers also broke into homes in the Old City area.

During the Qalqilia raid, soldiers abducted Mohammad Al-Baz, Muath Abu Asab, Alaa Dweiri, and brothers Abdulrahman and Abdulrazza Khadraj. The incursion caused property damage as forces searched several residences within the city limits before moving on.

In Jenin, a fifty-year-old man was shot in the hand and leg in the Al-Jabriyat area. Medics transported him to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, large army forces invaded areas of Aqaba north of Tubas, breaking into homes without reported abductions there.

Kamal Bani Odah stated Israeli forces abducted ten residents in Tubas and detained others. He added that soldiers converted a house under construction into a field-interrogation center for young men from the town during the extensive morning military campaign.

Troops invaded Burqa and Huwwara schools on the first day of classes. They demanded removal of a Palestinian flag in Huwwara. In Tulkarem, a military vehicle collided with a civilian car. Colonizers also invaded Awarta village and released cattle into a home.
