Israeli Raids Injure Two in West Bank, Kill Two in Lebanon

Israeli forces injured two Palestinians and detained nine others during raids across the occupied West Bank. Simultaneously, an Israeli strike killed at least two people in Arab Salim, southern Lebanon, following earlier military evacuation orders for residents in that specific area.

A fifty-year-old Palestinian man sustained wounds to his hand and leg during firing by Israeli forces in Jenin city. The Palestine Red Crescent Society treated him for these injuries. Wafa news agency reported this incident as part of the broader wave of military operations conducted throughout the region on Sunday.

In Qalqilya city, a Palestinian child was injured during firing by Israeli forces on Sunday morning. This occurred during a raid on the city. The incident highlights the ongoing volatility and danger faced by civilians during such military incursions into populated urban areas across the occupied territories.

Nine Palestinians were detained during a raid by Israeli forces on the town of Abqaba in the West Bank province of Tubas. Kamal Bani Odeh, director of the local Prisoners’ Society branch, stated that an unspecified number of other residents were also being held by the Israeli forces at that time.

Israeli forces rammed a Palestinian-owned vehicle near Abu Safiya intersection in Tulkarm’s eastern neighbourhood on Saturday night. The vehicle was damaged, but no injuries were reported. This act of destruction adds to the list of property damages incurred during recent military activities in the northern West Bank areas.

In southern Lebanon, Israeli military spokesperson Ella Waweya shared a map on X marking a building as a Hezbollah facility. She asked residents to evacuate immediately and stay three hundred metres away. At least two people were killed in the subsequent strike on Arab Salim despite these prior warnings.
