Israeli Strikes Kill Palestinians in Gaza Amid Ceasefire Violations

At least six Palestinians were killed in fresh Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Saturday. The victims included a child and the eldest son of the Health Ministry director general. These fatalities occurred despite the US-brokered ceasefire that officially took effect on October 10, 2025.

In Sheikh Radwan, an airstrike targeted a civilian vehicle in a populated street market. Medical sources identified Yahia Hamdouna as one of the two people killed in this incident. At least four other Palestinians sustained injuries during the attack on the western neighborhood of Gaza City.

Northern Gaza witnessed another deadly strike west of the Jabalia refugee camp. Basir al-Bursh, the eldest son of Health Ministry Director-General Munir al-Bursh, was killed in this aerial assault. The Health Ministry confirmed his death and extended formal condolences to his grieving family members.

East of Gaza City, Raed Abu Aser was killed when the military bombarded Mushtaha Street in Shujayea. In central Gaza, ten-year-old Mais Bazazo died from gunshot wounds north of Nuseirat camp. Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported her death along with serious injuries to a woman near Maghazi.

Southern areas faced heavy fire from helicopters and artillery near Khan Younis and Rafah. Military vehicles opened fire on tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in Al-Mawasi. Israeli forces also demolished buildings and shelled areas near the Yellow Line while maintaining strict restrictions on humanitarian aid entry.

Since the ceasefire began, Israeli violations have killed 1,390 Palestinians and wounded 4,801 others. Rescue teams recovered 831 bodies from rubble during this period. Since October 2023, the total death toll has reached at least 73,910, with more than 174,914 people wounded across the besieged enclave.
